Our family looks back on a special history, the origins of which date back to 1731 - when the Bittersams emigrated from Bavaria to Altenmarkt.
There they settled at the Urbisgut, a farm in the Salzburg Pongau region. Since then, the Urbisgut has been inhabited and managed by our family and over the years it has been developed into the hotel that it is today. Proud of our farming roots and with a great deal of appreciation for our homeland, we are now able to continue the family tradition with loving devotion.
